Built on Passion and Expertise

Michelle Duckett founded Mainstay Luxury Estates in 2015 after 16 years in the automotive industry. Born and raised in Santa Barbara and Santa Ynez, she brought her entrepreneurial spirit and deep knowledge of the region to create a business that connects homeowners with guests seeking exceptional stays. What started as one estate has grown into a carefully curated portfolio across multiple destinations, each property managed with the same attention to detail and care.

How We Work

Every Mainstay property is managed directly by our team. Nine homes across Montecito, Santa Barbara, Los Olivos, Santa Ynez, and Solvang, from vineyards that sleep 20 to quiet three-bedroom retreats. Each one is ready before you arrive. The guests who return each season are the measure we care about most.
